Understanding Your Test Results

Dissolved Ozone Concentration (mg/L)

This is the most critical measure of ozonated glycerin quality. It tells you how much active ozone is dissolved and stabilized within the glycerin matrix. Higher concentrations mean more potent therapeutic properties. SimplyO3 Glyzine consistently achieves 2,000-3,000+ mg/L — far exceeding the industry minimum of 1,500 mg/L. Most competitors only reach 800-1,200 mg/L because they use shorter ozonation cycles. Our extended process ensures deep ozone saturation that lasts.

ORP — Oxidation-Reduction Potential (mV)

ORP measures the oxidizing power of the solution in millivolts using a laboratory electrode. A higher ORP means stronger oxidative capacity — the ability to neutralize pathogens and support healing. Values above 450 mV indicate a potent ozonated product. SimplyO3 Glyzine typically reads 550-650 mV, which is clinical-grade potency. ORP is measured with a calibrated digital ORP meter directly in the glycerin during and after the ozonation cycle. It is one of the most reliable real-time quality indicators for ozonated products.

pH Level

pH measures acidity on a 0-14 scale. Properly ozonated glycerin should be mildly acidic, typically in the 3.5-5.0 range. This slight acidity is actually beneficial — it closely matches the skin's natural acid mantle (pH 4.5-5.5), which means Glyzine works harmoniously with your body's natural barrier. A more neutral pH (5.5+) in ozonated products often indicates insufficient ozonation. Our consistently low pH confirms thorough, deep ozone saturation of every batch.

Ozonation Time (Hours)

This represents the equivalent ozonation time if the batch were produced using a standard home ozone generator (like the SimplyO3 Stratus 3.0 at max output of ~0.6 g/hr). Our manufacturing facility uses industrial-grade SimplyO3 ozone reactors running on pure 99.9% medical oxygen — delivering approximately 15x the ozone output per hour compared to a home unit. This ratio is based on real power-scaling comparisons with industrial corona discharge generators (ClearWater Tech CD-series, 8-12 g/hr class). So when you see "270 equivalent hours," that means our industrial process delivered the same total ozone dose that would take 270 hours on a home generator. SimplyO3 Glyzine typically achieves 200-900+ equivalent hours of ozonation per batch — a level no competitor or home setup can approach.

🔬
Microbial Testing (CFU/g)

CFU/g stands for Colony Forming Units per gram — the standard measure for microbial contamination. Our testing confirms < 10 CFU/g, which is well below the < 100 CFU/g acceptance threshold. All Glyzine is processed under laminar flow hoods built to ISO 5 (Class 100) standards within an ISO 7 rated room, following ISO 9001 quality management guidelines — the same standards used in pharmaceutical manufacturing and semiconductor fabrication. Combined with ozone's inherent antimicrobial properties (one of nature's most powerful oxidizers), this ensures every batch is virtually sterile from production through packaging.

🔮
Purity — Glycerin Base (%)

This measures the purity of the glycerin substrate before and after ozonation. SimplyO3 uses only USP-grade pharmaceutical glycerin at 99.7% purity. Lower-grade glycerin (below 99%) may contain impurities that degrade ozone stability and reduce shelf life. Our pharmaceutical-grade base ensures maximum ozone retention and an 18-month shelf life — compared to 6-9 months for products using lower purity glycerin.

Strip Test (Ozone Residual)

Ozone test strips provide a rapid visual confirmation of dissolved ozone presence. The strips change color based on ozone concentration, with readings typically in the 2,500-5,000 range for properly ozonated glycerin. While not as precise as digital ORP meters, strip tests serve as an important secondary verification that ozone is present and active in the finished product. Every batch is strip-tested as part of our dual-verification quality protocol.
